with Wayan Partawan

Tone your muscles, build strength and enhance your breathing. An hour-long Hatha Yoga session with Wayan Partawan, surrounded by Tegallalang’s emerald-green rice terraces at the home of Oneworld Ayurveda.

The stunning Tegallalang Rice Terraces are a natural gem on the Island of the Gods. Part of the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Subak System, this 8th-century irrigating system is the manifestation of Tri Hita Karana—the Balinese philosophy of living in harmony with nature, other humans, and with God.

A key attraction, this valley of emerald green rice paddies has mind-boggling views and is the perfect spot for a long leisurely walk. Visitors love exploring the different terrace levels, using the tree swings and of course, taking beautiful photographs. Eating at one of the cafés near the terrace’s edge is another popular option.

With this lush green view, you will enjoy an hour of Hatha Yoga with Wayan. First created thousands of years ago, Hatha Yoga involves a set of physical postures (yoga poses) and breathing techniques. It is practised more slowly and with more static posture, resulting in a stronger core system and a balanced mind and body.
